A diamond dress ring, the crossover band highlighted with an old-cut diamond of brown tint in collet setting, (diamond untested for natural colour), accented with two smaller similarly set old and single-cut diamonds, 18ct two colour gold mounted, maker's mark GG, total diamond weight approximately 0.35ct, ring size Q½
The mount is of modern manufacture, with surface wear, scuffs and nicks throughout. Solder joins are present at junctions within the setting, presumed to be part of manufacture. The diamond of brown tint contains surface-reaching fracture inclusions and weighs approximately 0.30ct; we are unable to provide an estimated clarity grading due to the saturation of the colour tint. This diamond is untested for natural/treated colour. Smaller diamonds are relatively bright and lively. Hallmarks are clearly struck. Gross weight approximately 3.3gm.
