A late Victorian/Edwardian enamel and diamond set novelty stick pin, naturalistically modelled as the head of a whippet, with fur textured detail and red stone eyes, his collar accented with a blue enamel and old-cut diamond padlock, panel length 2.15cm
Approximate gross weight only 4.3gm. The panel appears to be gold but is untested as such. One cabochon eye appears a little darker than the other, and has some small chips/knocks, both eyes have som scratches and abrasions. There is some minor wear to the blue enamel padlock on the collar. The case is a bit tatty, with ink writing to the lid interior.
