the first: dark navy ground, decorated throughout with a polychrome nautical battle scene, the decoration includes a choppy sea worked in gold thread, armed male and female figures, enlarged fish and temple dogs, with various trees and flowers, the sky with flaming pearls, with a green tasselled fringe, approximately 342.5cm x 83cm; the second: dark navy ground, decorated throughout with fish, shellfish and scaled dragons, some creatures in relief, the creatures above a choppy sea and surrounded by flaming pearls, flowers and foliage, approximately 343.5cm x 68.5cm, each panel topped with a burgundy border and framed by two intricate borders of blue flowers (2)
