A ruby and diamond wreath brooch, designed as a wreath of repeating trios of circular mixed-cut rubies, spaced by single-cut diamond set foliage, white precious metal mounted, total diamond weight approximately 0.10ct, diameter 2.75cm
Rubies are well matched, of purplish-red hues with surface wear, some stones containing small mineral inclusions, fissures and occasional surface-reaching fractures. Diamonds are well matched and bright. The mount has light surface wear and a loop fitting allowing for the addition of a pendant bale or safety chain. The brooch pin is functioning. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 5.4gm.
