1949-1953 a file of correspondence between Caproni and The Mutual Security Agency relating to a hoped-for revival, post-war, of Caproni aircraft manufacture with offers to supply the F5 jet training aircraft (of which only a prototype was made). The Mutual Security Agency was a replacement of the US Marshall Plan aimed at assisting economic recovery and bolstering European Allies (of which Italy was then one) against the communist threat, as the Cold War developed.
