to include Shou Lao, the God of longevity with a high forehead and holding a ruyi sceptre in his right hand, Chang Kuo Lao, the God of literature, wearing a black hat and carrying a musical instrument consisting of a drum and a pair of bamboo rods, and two figures of Lu Tung Pin, who became the Patron of the barber's fraternity; he is carrying a fly whisk in his right hand, and his emblem, a sword, across his back, mounted on wood bases, tallest 21.5cm high excluding the base
Provenance: sold with the original John Sparks receipt dated May 9th 1968.

Provenance: sold with the original John Sparks receipt dated May 9th 1968.
The figures have some slight faults and losses/nicks. They have the original paint and patina, but there are some losses and some wear to the decoration. There are also some natural flaws and faults.
