Sapphires have variable blue and greenish-blue hues with areas of whiteish colour zoning and natural inclusions that are just visible to the unaided eye. All sapphires have surface wear commensurate for use, with scuffs, nicks and occasional chips. Diamonds are well matched, bright and lively, with occasional small chips/nicks. The ring mount has general surface wear, some chips/shallow dings and an area of filing to the back of the shank, which has been re-sized. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approximately 9gm. Length of setting 2.15cm.
