A set of twelve late 19th century Chippendale style mahogany dining chairs
The shaped tops with foliate carving above a pierced baluster splat. The drop-in seat upholstered in a light material. Raised on square section front legs united by an H-frame stretcher. The two carvers with shaped arms.

Evidence of good repair throughout. The arm of on of the carvers and its splat with notable damage. Some chairs with slightly loose top rails. Some scratching to the varnish. A very slight variation in patina throughout, notable particularly on the top rails. Wear to the top rails commensurate with age and use. One chair with a splat that is carved slightly differently to the others. Condition commensurate with age and use.
