A diamond dress ring, designed as a lozenge-shaped cluster of graduated old, brilliant and single-cut diamonds, between bifurcated shoulders, with French eagle's head mark, total diamond weight approximately 1.15ct, ring size R
Diamonds give an overall bright and lively appearance with slightly variable clarity and colour. The old-cut stones have chips/fractures and an unsymmetrical outline. Estimated SI1 to P2 clarity and I to L colour (assessed mounted), graduating from approximately 0.25ct to 0.025ct each in size. General surface wear to mount, patchy wear to claws, rubbing to sides and gallery of setting. The shank has been enlarged with a later added section. Length of setting 1.6cm. Gross weight approximately 4.3gm.
