A diamond single stone pendant on chain, the cushion-shaped old-cut diamond in millegrain collet setting, suspended from knife-edge bar, on a trace-link chain, white precious metal mounted, diamond weight approximately 2.60ct, pendant length 3.15cm, chain length 39.5cm
The diamond is drawing a pronounced yellow tint and has a chip/surface-reaching fractures to the lower side crown facets, running in from the girdle, that are visible under close inspection. The remainder of the stone is relatively 'clean', with a small pale fracture inclusion beneath the table facet. Estimated P2/P3 clarity (due to chip/fractures) and tinted colour, assessed mounted. Diamond dimensions approximately 8.3mm length x 7.6mm width x 5.25mm depth. The pendant setting and chain have surface wear, scuffs and nicks and the clasp is functioning. There is a faint solder join to one side of the setting, presumed to be part of manufacture. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approximately 3.7gm.
