Of relatively modern manufacture, with surface wear commensurate for occasional use. The rivière set round brilliant-cut diamonds graduate from approximately 2.87mm to 5.44mm in diameter and have a bright and lively appearance, some stones containing fracture and mineral inclusions, with some of these inclusions surface-reaching. The clasp set vari-cut diamonds are similarly bright and lively. Length of clasp panel 1.35cm, clasp currently functions. The necklace settings are articulated and the central largest setting has a reverse-mounted hinged pendant fitting, for the possible addition of a pendant drop. Metal standard is untested and the mount is not marked. Gross weight approximately 33.7gm.
Approximate diamond gradings taken from AnchorCert report:
rivière round brilliant-cut diamonds G to I colour, SI to I2 clarity
clasp set vari-cut diamonds H to I colour, VS to I1 clarity
