of depressed bottle form, the long neck ribbed in bamboo style and with trumpet mouth rim, the squat body decorated arond the neck and on the shoulder with chrysanthemum petals repeated beneath and around the foot rim, the base with a Zhuanshu script six character Yongzheng mark, Oriental Ceramic Society 1947 exhibition label, number 130, 23.5cm high
Provenance: From the Collection of Charles George Exhibited in The Oriental Ceramic Society exhibition of Celadon Wares, from October 20th to December 20th 1947, number 130 see page VI of the Celadon Wares illustrated catalogue of the exhibition for an image of the vase at the exhibition Potential purchasers will need to contact the office prior to bidding and must register by Tuesday 26th April, 4pm.
