Two Russian porcelain military plates

The plates by the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg, period of Alexander II (1855-1881), each painted with a central roundel of soldiers, within a lilac ground border with gilt ribbon tied laurel wreath and Imperial double-headed eagle crest, both with Cyrillic inscriptions to the reverse and underglaze marks in green and blue, both possibly dated '74 each 24.7cm diameter

Some wear to the gilt and scratching to the decoration and glaze commensurate with age. Some blooming to the central roundel glaze. Noticeable on the dress on the soldiers and the horse’s bodies. Minor chipping and scuffing to the rim of the base commensurate with age and display. No impurities or inconsistencies showing under blacklight.
