Note: A portrait by Mary Martha Pearson (1798-1871) signed by Fry herself featured on 'The Elizabeth Fry £5 note'. The Elizabeth Fry £5 note was in circulation from 2002 to 2016.

With extensive wear consistent with age and use. The page with Elizabeth Fry's signature has come loose. With foxing. The last page with text has been written on in pencil. The leather strap has broken/come loose.
