circa 1870-1880, with a shagreen pommel, brass handle and plated scabbard, the handle and the blade bearing the Royal cypher, the blade engraved with the crown and scrolling foliage decoration, numbered '13697', made by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, 98cm long together with a bayonet, with an engraving bearing 'P.D.L' and numbered '8699' (2)

Both have signs of wear consistent with age and use. The bayonet with rusting. The sword's pommel with a dent.
