A 17th century oak Italian style cassone or chest with moulded ornament and fielded panelled front sides and lid, all standing on bun feet, 132cm wide x 47cm deep x 51cm high
Ring mark to the top and further slight watermarks. A slight loss to the back right corner of the top. The chest almost certainly constructed from older elements. Further minor marks, dents and scratches due to age and use.
