depiction of the Tantric Hindu goddess Tripurasundari, illustrated with a red complexion and wearing a crown upon her head in the form of a crescent shaped moon, the goddess holds a suar cane bow, five flower arrows, a noose and a hook, the goddess sits above Siva who in turn sits on a cot, the gods Brahma, Visnu, Rudra and Indra form the legs of the cot, oil on canvas/cloth on a later board, with an inscription to the lower centre, 90cm x 60cm

With signs of wear consistent with age and use throughout. With losses to the paint. Would benefit from a cleaning. The frame with a chip. The painting with scratches.
