the scroll serving as a declaration of Barry Leslie Blundell McCalmont and the descendants of his great-grandfather Hugh McCalmont are bourne the Arms illustrated on the scroll, dated 1892, signed 'N. Farnham Burke', with a weight attached to the lower part of the scroll, together with an Elizabethan scroll, the scroll declaring that John Maurice Lancaster of Walnut Close in the Borough of Cheltenham, in the County of Gloucestershire, Doctor of Philosophy of the University of London and his descendants have been assigned the Arms illustrated on the left of the scroll, the scroll with gold leaf details and further coloured illustrations, dated the 18th of May 1990, with two weights attached, each decorated with a crown in relief and a scroll by Waterlow & Sons Makers London, the scroll offering The Right Honourable Earl of Ilchester congratulations on his marriage, signed by the tenants of the Earl's estate, the scroll decorated in colour with a coat of Arms, scrolling foliage and a gilt border enclosed within an ornate border of flowers and foliage, dated February 1872 (3)

With signs of wear consistent with age and use. With creases. With marks. One scroll with smudging. One scroll with potential minor foxing. The interior lining of the third scroll has become detached and is with extensive wear.
