A 19th century memorial locket pendant, the oval onyx locket applied with gold monogram, heightened with ivy leaves and branch textured decoration, opening to reveal two glazed compartments, with black enamel bale, length 6.1cm
Surface scuffs and nicks/small chips to exterior of black onyx mount and monogram, some deeper scuffs to interior of mount and to glazed compartments. The mount closes fairly tightly but has some looseness at the hinge. Scuffs and chips to enamel on bale. Gold standard is untested. Width 3.6cm. Gross weight approx. 32.6gm.
