A 19th century adjustable fancy-link bracelet, the articulated strap-link bracelet with ropetwist borders and foliate engraved keeper, bracelet width 1.35cm, keeper width 2.75cm
Some kinks to bracelet, with occasional solder repairs and occasional breaks/splits to the links in the outer ropetwist borders. Shallow dings/dents to both hollow panels. Small area of solder to reverse of smaller panel. The keeper is loose fitting in terms of holding the length adjustment and has an area of gluish-like residue to the interior, which may be a later repair. It may require further repair/adjustment to secure the desired length. General surface wear, scuffs, scratches and chips/nicks throughout bracelet, commensurate for use. Patchy light wear to engraved decoration. Gross weight only approximately 32.9gm (metal standard is untested).
