A 19th century pendant/brooch, centred with a circular chalcedony panel with faceted border, applied with a turquoise set flowerhead and foliate spray and enclosed by a cannetille work border, glazed compartment verso, (pendant loop detached, brooch pin deficient), diameter 3.1cm

General wear, scuffs and nicks/chips throughout with areas of patchy thinning, commensurate for age and use. The mount appears to be gilt metal, with areas of verdigris staining and occasional small losses/breaks to the cannetille border. The spray has areas of dark discolouration, with possible solder repair to the lower section, and appears to be missing some foliate elements. The turquoise cabochon is pitted and discoloured. The pendant loop is split and detached. Gross weight approx. 10.3gm.
