The arch with name disc signed Stephen Asselin, London with two subsidiary dials to the top corners for strike hours/silent hours and strike quarters/silent quarters. The triple train fusee movement with anchor escapement, chiming on six bells and striking on a further bell with acanthus, mask and bird engraved back plate. Dial has a repair to lower left corner. Movement fairly clean but not tested or guaranteed.
Case - Inner dial surround with old repairs. Slight lifting of veneer to top, short split above arch and small piece of veneer missing to right side. Small area of damaged veneer to front door, repair to area of rear door and left of door and general age-related marks.
Pendulum spring repaired pin stopping it fitting.
