1927 Ca60 TRANSAERO (often referred to as the ‘Noviplano‘ or ‘Capronissimo‘)
A prototype nine-winged, eight-engined flying boat. Intended as a 100-seat transatlantic passenger aircraft, it made a brief flight and then crashed on its second. These two pencil drawings are original, but damaged, and dated from 1927 some six years after the crash. It may be that they were scaled down from the working drawings for us in the company's model workshop
