Michael Lewis was a painter, draughtsman, and teacher. Born in Cheltenham, he studied at the Regent Street Polytechnic School of Art and showed at the Leicester Galleries, and the Royal Academy. He also had one-man shows at the Trafford Gallery and Scunthorpe Art Gallery.
