A diamond dress ring, designed as a lozenge-shaped cluster of graduated old and lasque-cut diamonds, yellow precious metal mounted, total weight of old-cut diamonds approximately 0.35ct, ring size M
Diamonds are variable, some of the smaller stones with dark greyish hues, most stones with facet edge abrasion, chips and surface-reaching fractures. Solder joins/repairs are present to the shoulders and to the back of the shank. The edges and tips of the setting are very worn and thin, with sharpness to the touch in places, and the setting is likely to require repair. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 3.5gm.
