An 18th century oak chest of five long graduated drawers having a brushing slide, brass handles and raised on squat ogee bracket feet, 84cm wide x 52cm deep x 77cm high
Shrinkage splits to top, sides and some drawer bottoms. Also, back boards. Old repair replaced board (full length x 1 ½” wide) to back edge of top.
Feet cut down. Brasses appear original but may not be as escutcheon look replaced some handles with key holes, some not. Some old worm holes. General old and age-related marks and patination.
