A Late 17th century silver tankard, possibly provincial, the hinged cover with engraved figure of a recumbent lion, the scroll handle with applied beaded and stylised stiff leaf decoration, and having reeded foot rim, maker's mark only struck twice to the lid and twice to the body, 18cm high, 34oz.
