A 1926 Steiff teddy bear
With articulated limbs and head, and possibly originally with a growler.

Provenance:This bear was given to the previous owner Margit Fassbender by her father Wilhelm Fassbender on the 28th of February 1926 as her birthday present. Also mentioned is that Margit removed the button at the age of four years old "because it was hurting the bear".

In very worn condition with repairs to the pads of the paws and feet. Wear to the plush fur. Further signs of repair and deterioration. Lacking button.
