A Russian enamel and diamond set heart pendant, accented with an old-cut diamond, to a red sunburst guilloché enamel ground, silver mounted, with 88 standard kokoshnik mark for St. Petersburg, 1908 - 1926, and possible Fabergé maker's mark, length 3.2cm

Please note that we cannot confirm whether the maker's mark is for Fabergé, as this could be a pseudo mark or later added mark.

The diamond is in a closed-back and possibly foiled setting, with a lively appearance, estimated weight 0.04ct. The enamel has an orangey-red hue with surface wear, scuffs and nicks, and occasional deeper nicks, but with no apparent losses. Surface wear, scratches, scuffs and nicks to the mount, commensurate for use, with patchy tarnishing. It is possible that the mount may previously have had a gilt finish. The kokoshnik mark has patchy wear. Width of heart 2.5cm. Gross weight approximately 9.8gm.
