A diamond half hoop ring, the line of uniform round brilliant-cut diamonds in grain settings, 18ct white gold mounted, hallmarked for London 1971, total diamond weight approximately 0.90ct, ring size I (leading edge)
Set with nine diamonds, each weighing approx. 0.10ct. Diamonds are bright and lively, mostly well matched. One of the outer diamonds is drawing a yellowish tint, with estimated VS2 to SI1 clarity and L to M colour, assessed mounted. The remaining diamonds have estimated H to J colour and VS2 to SI2 clarity, assessed mounted. The ring mount has a re-sizing solder join to the back of the shank and a yellowish off-white hue, with general surface wear, scuffs and nicks/chips throughout. Width of setting approx. 4mm, depth of setting approx. 2.8mm, mount tapers in depth to back. The maker's mark is worn, hallmarks are clearly struck. Gross weight approx. 4.6gm.
