The mount is likely to be of relatively modern manufacture, produced in the style of an early 20th century piece, and has general surface wear, chips and nicks, with a small split to the base of one shoulder and pacthy rubbing to the foliate decoration. The amethyst has light surface wear, measuring approximately 14.4mm diameter x 10mm depth. Diamonds are mostly well matched, bright and lively. The mount is not marked and metal standard is untested. Gross weight approximately 6.7gm.
