A Late 19th century French carriage clock with a white enamel roman dial inscribed J.C Vickery to her majesties 179.181.183. regent street. The movement with platform lever escapment, gong strike with a push repeat all in a squat corniche case. 11.5cm high

A Late 19th century French carriage clock with a white enamel roman dial inscribed J.C Vickery to her majesties 179.181.183. regent street. The movement with platform lever escapment, gong strike with a push repeat all in a squat corniche case. 11.5cm high

Dial has chip to top left corner not visible square on. Faint hairlines, one from centre to three o’clock the other across bottom left corner.

Movement currently working. Striking and repeating although out of sync but not tested or guaranteed.

Case with wear to gilding especially to handle and top small chips to corners of back door glass. One minor chip to bottom back corner of left glass and front glass.
