The round brilliant-cut diamond is a later replacement and both of the principal diamond settings have been reinforced to the back of the settings with later added collets. The sapphire has surface wear, scuffs and nicks/chips and some of the diamonds have chips and surface-reaching fractures. Diamonds have variable colour and clarity but give an overall lively appearance, the lasque-cut diamonds with a typically greyish appearance. The mount has general surface wear, with thinning to the edges of the setting, and the shank may be later replaced. The shank is also stamped 'PLAT' but no white metal is present. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approximately 4gm.
