A late 19th century hunter fob watch, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, to a keyless wind movement numbered 269732, the case with engine-turned cover, signed DENT and stamped '18K', numbered 160873, (case initialled and inscribed, glass deficient), suspended from an 18ct gold brooch fitting, watch case diameter 3.35cm
Watch: scuffs and surface wear to dial, glass is missing, inner bezel is loose. Scattered dings and dents to case, the pin to one of the hinges is loose, general surface wear throughout. Patchy wear to marks, cover and inner case are inscribed. Some gapping to case sides when cover and back are closed. The movement does not wind or run. Gross weight approximately 34gm. Brooch fitting: surface wear throughout, pin and clasp are functioning, marks are clearly struck. Gross weight approximately 3.7gm.
