Johann Wilhelm (Guillaume) Freudenthaler (1761-1824) was a Piano maker born in Neckargartach, near Heilbronn, he moved to Paris in 1789. He is noted in Commercial Almanacs as working at No.164 Rue Montmartre between 1811 and 1823.
