Dimensions: 120cm wide x 52cm deep x 95cm high
Generally good condition. Although we believe this to have some age we do not believe it to be 18th century but of late 19th Century manufacture. Patches across the body, particularly noticeable on the top drawer, above the escutcheon and to the left of the right-hand handle. Repair to the bottom left of the fret carved bracket on the left-hand leg on the Cracks down the side. A small piece of veneer missing below the bottom drawer on the right. Minor scratching to the marble top. Loss to the edge of the right-hand leg below the foliate top, a patch to the same spot on the left-hand leg. Scuffing around the edges of the drawers and down the edges of the fitted drawers commensurate with age and use. Somewhat inconsistent patina across the chest particularly around the detail and the edges of the drawers. Evidence that the handles are later. (see pictures)
