Rubies are well matched, of pinkish-red and orange-red hues, most of the stones containing multiple inclusions such as fractures, fissures, minerals that are just visible to the unaided eye. Some of the rubies have surface-reaching fractures and chips. Each stone measures approx. 3mm to 3.5mm diameter. The mount is off-round and has general surface wear, with chips and scuffs throughout and dings to the shank. The mount is also heavily tarnished. Hallmarks have patchy wear, the shank also bears the maker's mark 'H.B.' Gross weight approx. 2.1gm.
