A mid 19th century black leather bound dispatch box with a brass swan neck carrying handle and a Bramah lock, 46cm wide x 30cm deep x 16cm high. Formerly contained the papers of George Henry Fitzroy (1826-1868) when he was working for the Chinese Maritime Customs Service in the Chinese Treaty Ports of 1860'S.
